Dr. Wember, DVM:
Dr. Wember started Hancock Animal Hospital to offer state-of-the-art care for your precious family members. Dr. Wember received his doctorate (DVM) from Colorado State University and completed an additional rotating medical and surgical internship. He has been working in both emergency and regular practices for over ten years. He will always strive to offer the best possible care to your pets.
Dr. Wember enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine. He believes in a thorough medical workup of patients as well as concentrating on preventative and routine care. Dr. Wember performs most of our surgeries. Dr. Wember also has in interest in Complementary Medical treatments to enhance traditional care for your pets. He has interest in treating a variety of conditions with alternative medical options, and will always offer you the most comprehensive care for your pets.
Dr. Wember believes that a thorough physical exam of all pets, routine diagnostics, and preventative care can provide you with the necessary information to offer your pets the best health care possible. He will always offer you multiple treatment options from very aggressive to a conservative approach to any medical problem or condition. You have the final say in ALL treatments decisions with your pet(s). Dr. Wember enjoys explaining medical conditions and informing you of all the treatment possibilities and options. Please ask as many questions as you can and make sure that you always feel comfortable and informed with the treatment decisions involving your animals. All questions are always welcome!
Dr. Davis, DVM, CVA
Dr Davis joined the Hancock Animal Hospital Team in 2015. Dr. Davis is very dedicated to her patients and clients. She is a very skilled veterinarian with interest in medicine and surgery. She is certified in veterinary acupuncture and is incorporating acupuncture and other modalities such as laser therapy into our treatment plans. Acupuncture and laser therapy can provide significant therapeutic options to patients for problems such as pain, arthritis, back problems, renal disease, liver problems and many other conditions.

Our Technical Staff:
Gerry is one of our veterinary assistants and hospital manager. She has worked as a veterinary assistant for over 16 years. She has a magical touch with the animals and will always do everything she can to make you feel comfortable and satisfied with your visit. Gerry makes the animals feel at ease and has a gentle way in which the animals just love her. Gerry is a wealth of knowledge and information and is always happy to discuss your pet’s care with you or anything regarding the hospital.
Meaghan is our lead assistant and has been with us for many years. She has a sincere caring for all aspects of veterinary medicine and care. Meaghan has wonderful technical skills and her dedication and enthusiasm is enhancing all aspects of the hospital. She spends the time to get to know you and your pet and will be there to help you with anything you need.
Jacki has been working in the animal field and has recently joined out team at the front desk. She brings a wonderful level of excitement and genuine care for you and your pets.
